iOS vs Android – Which platform should you target?
Just over a year ago the answer was simple: iPhone first. At that point Android had yet to mature and reach a critical mass of users, apps and developers.
Today we see that Android 2.x+ has matured as a platform and passed iPhone in terms of marketshare of SmartPhones and reaching parity for support from developers.
If you need your app to be available to more than 65% of SmartPhone users then your App needs to be developed for both iPhone & Android.
